My brother Shawn and Cassady out to lunch after a day of shopping. I just love the smirks on both their faces. They are both such teasers. Cassady adores Shawn. She loves to ruff house with him and tease him. Shawn and Kirstla took the girls one night to the nickelcade and they had a blast. Josh and I got to go out with no kids to our Favorite Chinese restraunt,Joy Luck, restraunt that night with my parents. Thanks Shawn and Kirstla!
We made gingerbread houses at My mom and dad's after church on Sunday.
Kylee didn't want to have to hold her house on her lap on the drive home so she left it, but hurried and ate the good candy off it before we left.
Cassady just tried to put as much candy on it as possible.
Christmas Eve Jammie's. We have the tradition of the girls getting to open a gift on Christmas Eve. They always know it is Jammie's and slippers to wear to bed. Cassady got Hannah Montana Jammie's, slippers and a light up robe. Jordan and Kylee got cute Thumper and Marie night shirts and some awesome fuzzy slippers. I should have got me some too. These are my super models, always posing.
We celebrated Christmas eve with the Coats. We had a yummy dinner and watched movies. Usually the girls all sleep together in a room, but Jordan wasn't feeling well, so she slept in her own room. Cass and Kylee slept in Kylee's bed. They slept in until about 7:30. I had gotten up and eaten a little so I wouldn't be sick and waited for them to get up. Cassady was so excited to see that santa had eaten her cookies and the reideer ate her carrots. There was even one carrot left with reindeer teeth marks in it. She thought that was so cool!
Santa brought Cassady a loft/bunk bed. Just what she asked him for.
Santa wrapped one of the smaller boxes and left the other 8 in the garage. The thing is huge and barely fits in her room. It has a dresser and a desk hooked on. In a few years she will share it with her baby sister. The babies will get her dresser. Even though it was the largest most expensive Christmas gift Santa has ever brought us. It was practical or at least we justified it that way.
Jordan and Kylee got gift certificates for a closet, the paint, and carpet in what is to be their new bedroom, hopefully before the babies get here.
We have a Christmas Tradition we got from Josh's family, Christmas Cereal. We go to the store a few days before Christmas and everyone gets to pick out any box of Cereal they want. Then we have it for breakfast Christmas morning. Lucky Charms was Cassady's pick.

Kylee has been saving her money for an Ipod for awhile and she had enough money to buy it, but we kept coming up with excuses for a few weeks of why she couldn't buy it. Santa brought her one and now she has a load of money for a 12 year old. She is such a good saver, but it has been a problem for us a few times.

Jordan got a new fancy coat. She wouldn't wear the one she had. She was hard to buy for this year. The only things she wanted was a cell phone and a laptop, two things she will not get for quite awhile. She told Santa she wanted healthy twins. Which shocked him, until he realized I was the one pregnant, not her.

We spent the rest of the the day watching movies and playing games on the Vtech they got. We are enjoying the extra time off the girls have from school. Josh doesn't work the week after Christmas so we are enjoying the time with him.
Hope your Christmas holiday was as Joyful as ours!
