Yesterday my sister-in-laws threw me a shower for my family and Josh's family. There was a great turn-out! It was fun to see everyone. I even got to see my high school friend Dayna and her adorable little girl Sadie. We got a lot of great stuff. We had some Yummy food and just got to talk. It was a great day! Thanks so much Mary and Sarah! We love you!

Twins-boy and girlI Went to the Doctor again today. Both babies are head up, in the breech position. I have given up on their positioning. They are obviously still turning and moving fine, since they are in a different position every time. Besides that they look great. Good strong heartbeats. I have another Ultrasound in 2 weeks. I haven't been walking at all so I was worried about my weight gain, but I only gained 3 pounds. Yeah!!!! Everything looks great! There was a nurse in training or something like that, so he did a more detailed ultrasound and explained a few things to here. It was for her benefit, not mine, but it was really interesting. Stuff about the membrane separating them and the 3- vessel cord and the pockets of fluid. He also said that he had 7 sets of twins right now. The most he has ever had. He doesn't know if he has just had a lot or if there is just a surge of twins right now. Seven for one Dr. is crazy. I have one more week to go then I can stay in the valley to have them. I am suppose to keep better track of my contractions. I try to just ignore them, unless I think they are coming regularly. Then when I do pay attention they go away. So he asked me to keep better track of them.

I can't stand up after getting down, I am always asking Cass to get me stuff off the floor. I have to do laundry on days when the girls are home so they can get the clothes out of the dryer for me. Sleeping or staying asleep is hard. I wake up every hour and have to roll over usually because that hip aches. When I look at the weeks I have left it seems close, until you translate those weeks into months or days. I just keep counting by weeks.

Happy Valentines Day!

I got the best Valentine this year! Cassady has the best Preschool teacher and when I picked Cass up from School on Thursday this is what I got. The little poem says:

SPECIAL DELIVERY
Here's a special Valentine
Standing at your door,
It's special-one of a kind
You can't buy it at a store.

There's a present in this heart
That you won't want to miss,
Just pucker up...
And I'll give you a KISS!

Cass was so excited this year for Valentines. She gave out Valentines at School, Dance, and a Valentine exchange party she was invited too. She was so excited for the party. She slept in Curlers the night before, had to have a pretty red dress (thank goodness for Christmas dresses), and a big red ribbon in her hair. I don't really like Valentines Day, but she made it fun this year.

Dr Appointment

I had another Ultrasound Yesterday and a Dr. Appointment today. Things are looking really good. The boy weighs 2lbs 13 oz. and the girl 2lbs 10 oz. It puts boy in 57% and girl in 38%. Last time I went in the boy was head down and the girl breech, now he is breech and she is head down. I guess they have enough room to flip so let's just hope they both end up head down. I got to see his face in 3-D for a second or two by the time the tech pushed print he moved and we just got a big blur. Then he ended up with a hand in front of his face.
I only gained 2 lbs in the last 2 weeks!!!!! I have been walking at the rec center with friends almost every day. I have really enjoyed it and it makes me feel great! Today Dr Fowers said our biggest worry now is going into labor early. My cervix is still really long (which is good). I have been having more contractions, nothing consistent though. He said I now have to take it easy. He mentioned no more exercising, no more day trips, no going to the zoo or stuff like that. I asked if walking was exercising. He said if I take it easy and only do light walking, it is ok a little longer. My walking buddy is 6 feet tall and walks fast. Which has been great, because I feel like I am actually getting some exercise. I bring Cass and my buddy brings her little girl and they play in the corner while we walk the track. I am sad to have to slow down. I really don't want to stop. I don't want to slow her down. I Will do what I have to to have healthy babies. My dr and I discussed having contractions and when to panic and go to his office or the hospital.
I am so ready to be done with this pregnancy and really want my body back. (I so want to sleep on my tummy, take a deep breath, not chew gum, get off the couch without such an effort and not have a backache.) I am hoping time will go by fast. It doesn't sound to long when I say I only have 9 weeks left, but if you put that into days, 60, Oh my!!! I go back in two weeks. Wish me luck and don't laugh if you see me and my huge and still growing tummy.

I admit it, I'm 35!!!

Yesterday was my 35th birthday. Wow! Back in high school I would have considered people who were 35 ancient. I could have never imagined being that old. Although, I never could have imagined being pregnant with twins either. I don't feel old yet. Ask me again when I am sleep deprived in April.

Josh brought me roses home from him and Cass. Josh, Cass, and I went to wingers for lunch. It was nice. I opened my present from the girls later that night. I got the stroller I have been researching. I found an awesome price and free shipping! It's seats come off and it hold 2 infant carrier car seats, most strollers only hold one. You can also turn the normal seats what ever way you want to. Check out that HUGE basket underneath! I am sure we will fill it quickly.

I got a gift card from Chelcie to Cafe Sabor which I have seriously been craving and relaxing bath supplies from Jodi. Thanks girls!!!! I can now relax and eat, what more could I ask for!
