CHRISTMAS!!!!

We made gingerbread houses at My mom and dad's after church on Sunday.

Kylee didn't want to have to hold her house on her lap on the drive home so she left it, but hurried and ate the good candy off it before we left.

Cassady just tried to put as much candy on it as possible.

Christmas Eve Jammie's. We have the tradition of the girls getting to open a gift on Christmas Eve. They always know it is Jammie's and slippers to wear to bed. Cassady got Hannah Montana Jammie's, slippers and a light up robe. Jordan and Kylee got cute Thumper and Marie night shirts and some awesome fuzzy slippers. I should have got me some too. These are my super models, always posing.
We celebrated Christmas eve with the Coats. We had a yummy dinner and watched movies. Usually the girls all sleep together in a room, but Jordan wasn't feeling well, so she slept in her own room. Cass and Kylee slept in Kylee's bed. They slept in until about 7:30. I had gotten up and eaten a little so I wouldn't be sick and waited for them to get up. Cassady was so excited to see that santa had eaten her cookies and the reideer ate her carrots. There was even one carrot left with reindeer teeth marks in it. She thought that was so cool!

Santa brought Cassady a loft/bunk bed. Just what she asked him for.

Santa wrapped one of the smaller boxes and left the other 8 in the garage. The thing is huge and barely fits in her room. It has a dresser and a desk hooked on. In a few years she will share it with her baby sister. The babies will get her dresser. Even though it was the largest most expensive Christmas gift Santa has ever brought us. It was practical or at least we justified it that way.

Kylee has been saving her money for an Ipod for awhile and she had enough money to buy it, but we kept coming up with excuses for a few weeks of why she couldn't buy it. Santa brought her one and now she has a load of money for a 12 year old. She is such a good saver, but it has been a problem for us a few times.

Jordan and Kylee got gift certificates for a closet, the paint, and carpet in what is to be their new bedroom, hopefully before the babies get here.

Jordan got a new fancy coat. She wouldn't wear the one she had. She was hard to buy for this year. The only things she wanted was a cell phone and a laptop, two things she will not get for quite awhile. She told Santa she wanted healthy twins. Which shocked him, until he realized I was the one pregnant, not her.
Cassady's new fancy dress. She got a matching one for her baby sister too.

Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana Barbies.

We have a Christmas Tradition we got from Josh's family, Christmas Cereal. We go to the store a few days before Christmas and everyone gets to pick out any box of Cereal they want. Then we have it for breakfast Christmas morning. Lucky Charms was Cassady's pick.

Kylee's pick was Cookie Crisp.

Jordan picked Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
We spent the rest of the the day watching movies and playing games on the Vtech they got. We are enjoying the extra time off the girls have from school. Josh doesn't work the week after Christmas so we are enjoying the time with him.
Hope your Christmas holiday was as Joyful as ours!

Black eye

This is the result of the crash on Tuesday. The pictures don't show it that well, so you can imagine what it looks like.

Cassady's Dance Show

She is becoming quite the dancer and she loves it! It was quite a sight to see our little ballerina with a black eye.

Bruiser

The other night at our ward Christmas Party Cassady got pushed into the Piano and had a large bruise on the other cheek. Today it is just that greenish color. Then today she came out of Preschool with this nice bruise just starting. She came running around a corner and hit a boy's head. Of coarse my little girl has a dance recital tomorrow and a singing show on Thursday and the poor thing looks like she has been beat up.

Another Dr. Appointment

I had another Dr. Appointment today. It was at 8:30 am. Not sure what I was thinking making it that early. I had to wake Cass up at 8 to get her to Josh's office. I felt a little more nauseous this morning, I think because I ate my breakfast so fast, usually I take my time.
Started with the first of many urine samples with a empty bladder. It took me a while to get a very small sample...I know too much information. While he was looking at the babies for heart beats one kicked the other in the back and the one that got kicked had a slower heartbeat. He checked the other baby and when he came back to the first one the heartbeat was back to normal. He said it was probably just from being kicked. It is fun to see them every time. they are wiggle worms!!!
I got my flu shot. I made another appointment for a 3-D ultrasound in Four weeks and then an appointment with the Dr. the day afterwards. Then I will start going every 2 weeks, since it is twins and I will have them sooner.
I have been feeling better, only nauseous in the morning. I take one of the Zofran in the morning and that lasts me the whole day. I get really tired by the evening and still go up to my room and lay down. Starting to get uncomfortable. My back is really starting to hurt if I stand for too long. Today the Dr. said I could use a heating pad or the ThermaCare Heat wraps. I can't even imagine how they are going to fit in there for 17 more weeks. I hope it will all go fast with Christmas, then Cass's birthday in Jan., my birthday in Feb., and Jordan's in March.

The Big Ultrasound!!!!

Yesterday I had my ultrasound appointment. We all, and I mean all 5 of us, got ready and left by 9:10. We got called into this tiny room. The Ultrasound tech asked if we wanted to know the sex of the babies and I told her, "Yes that is why we are ALL here." She started with Baby A on the left and was getting measurements of different things. She said, "Here is a tailbone". Cassady said,"He has a tail". Cass couldn't pick out the babies in the ultrasound. Josh was trying to show her things and she asked if we were having a crab, cuz that is what it looks like. The ultrasound tech then said,"Oh look dad got his wish. Baby A is a boy!" Cheers went up from Jordan and Kylee. The tech moved on to Baby B and shortly into looking, but about 1/2 hr into the appointment. I started to feel lightheaded and nauseous, not unusually to me so I didn't say anything. I tried taking some deep breaths and closing my eyes for a sec. That is when I started sweating A LOT! I was dripping! The tech noticed and said you need to roll to your side. She told me there is a Main blood vessel that when I lay on my back is pinched off by my the babies. I was not getting enough blood to my heart. Thank Goodness she noticed before I passed out. I just thought it was this dang morning sickness! She was able to do most of Baby B while I was laying on my side. She told us it was a girl. There was no cheers after that, but "well at least there is one boy", was said a few times. Except for Cassady who said,"I told you I wanted 1 girl and 1 Boy." She has been telling me that from the first day I told the girls I was pregnant, even before we found out about the twins. I am glad the tech saw the boy first or the disappointment would have been worse. I felt bad for my little girl. I am excited! I wanted boys, but it was hard not to look at all the cute little girl dresses and bows. Now I can buy both.

Cassady is going to ask Santa for a bunk bed! When I thought both babies were Boys. I kept thinking that she is the only one who will not need to share a bedroom and the only one who would not need a bunk bed. Now that Bunk bed makes a lot of Sense! We never would have thought to buy one this early on, but one day Cass with share a room with with Baby B! Way to go Cass!!

Now the Shopping and the name debate can begin!
I'll post some pictures later. Right know I can't get my scanner to work.
