Dr Appointment

I had another Ultrasound Yesterday and a Dr. Appointment today. Things are looking really good. The boy weighs 2lbs 13 oz. and the girl 2lbs 10 oz. It puts boy in 57% and girl in 38%. Last time I went in the boy was head down and the girl breech, now he is breech and she is head down. I guess they have enough room to flip so let's just hope they both end up head down. I got to see his face in 3-D for a second or two by the time the tech pushed print he moved and we just got a big blur. Then he ended up with a hand in front of his face.
I only gained 2 lbs in the last 2 weeks!!!!! I have been walking at the rec center with friends almost every day. I have really enjoyed it and it makes me feel great! Today Dr Fowers said our biggest worry now is going into labor early. My cervix is still really long (which is good). I have been having more contractions, nothing consistent though. He said I now have to take it easy. He mentioned no more exercising, no more day trips, no going to the zoo or stuff like that. I asked if walking was exercising. He said if I take it easy and only do light walking, it is ok a little longer. My walking buddy is 6 feet tall and walks fast. Which has been great, because I feel like I am actually getting some exercise. I bring Cass and my buddy brings her little girl and they play in the corner while we walk the track. I am sad to have to slow down. I really don't want to stop. I don't want to slow her down. I Will do what I have to to have healthy babies. My dr and I discussed having contractions and when to panic and go to his office or the hospital.
I am so ready to be done with this pregnancy and really want my body back. (I so want to sleep on my tummy, take a deep breath, not chew gum, get off the couch without such an effort and not have a backache.) I am hoping time will go by fast. It doesn't sound to long when I say I only have 9 weeks left, but if you put that into days, 60, Oh my!!! I go back in two weeks. Wish me luck and don't laugh if you see me and my huge and still growing tummy.

Steph, I'm so glad the babies are doing well. I know the feeling of just being done being pregnant -- and I only had one at a time! (I got so tired of the bounce and roll to turn over in bed.) Good luck with the homestretch!
And, of course I don't mind you following our blog. I love to blog-watch, too. :)
